Baked Kohlrabi Fries

The kohlrabi from the Hub City Farmer’s Market was perfect for these fries. We threw in some sweet potatoes too. Recipe below.


2 sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into sticks)
1-2 kohlrabi ( washed, peeled, and cut into sticks)
3 tbs melted coconut oil (or olive oil)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper


1. Preheat oven to 425
2. Prepare sweet potatoes and kohlrabi (wash, peel, cut into sticks)
3. Mix spices together in small bowl
4. Toss fries in coconut oil
5. Sprinkle with seasoning (I didn’t use all of it)
6. Put on baking sheet in single layer (I put mine on parchment paper) and bake for about 30 minutes.
Kids love to dip, so find your favorite dip or make your own and start snacking
